About Me
Hi! My name is Cori and I am the owner of Cori French Fitness. My passion has always been to educate others on the most holistic and effective ways to be the healthiest and strongest version of yourself.
Growing up, I was always in some type of sport. “Athlete” was just a part of who I was. In middle school and high school, I competed in cross country and track and field. My main events were the 400M, 800M, and pole vault. As I grew older and moved past school athletics and on to college, I wanted to continue to push my body to new limits, and also change some things about my physique.
As I began my adult life, I struggled with creating my own routines while transitioning into life outside of my high school sports. Because I was a competitive runner, it was very hard for me to grow muscle. People always referred to me as being “too skinny,” which led to a lot of insecurity and shot down my confidence in ever being able to change my body.
That is where I discovered weightlifting- not only did I love the way it made me look physically, I slowly grew into loving how being healthy changed my everyday life. Mentally and physically exercise benefitted my life in so many other things than just my appearance.
As an athlete and overall active person, it just made sense to go to college for Exercise science. During my studies, I worked at a government gym as a personal trainer and have helped many of my clients achieve their unique goals. Through starting my own fitness business, it is my hope that I can reach more people and impact their lives in a positive way!
